Flight, Hotel, & Insurance Booking Correction Policy

At DTFV Travels, we understand that travel corrections can be challenging, especially when they involve airlines or hotels. Since our launch in 2019, we have proudly offered these corrections free of cost to our valued customers.

However, due to ongoing changes in airline and hotel policies over the years, we could no longer sustain the full expense of such modifications. Therefore, from 1st July 2024, correction requests for flight and hotel bookings are no longer free of charge.

Please note that travel insurance corrections will still be provided free of cost, provided that the number of travel days and traveler ages remain the same, and the correction request is made at least 10 days before the insurance effective date.

If an error occurs due to our team's mistake, we take full responsibility and will correct it free of charge, as many times as necessary, to ensure your booking matches your provided details.

However, if the correction request arises due to missing, incomplete, or changed details from your side, such as:

• Adding or removing flight legs
• Modifying travel dates
• Adjusting names or titles
• Changing arrival or departure times
• Any other new request not mentioned in your original order

Then a small correction fee will apply as follows:

• $15 USD for individual flight or hotel reservation corrections
• $20 USD for combined flight + hotel corrections (on one document)

Payment can be made via our custom payment link by selecting the appropriate option: "Flight Corrections," "Hotel Corrections," or "Both."

Please note:

• Full name changes are not allowed. Minor spelling corrections are acceptable and will be handled without additional cost.
• If you wish to completely change the traveler's name, you will need to place a new order.
• Correction requests are valid for up to 2 weeks from the date the original order was placed (not from the correction date). Any further corrections after this period will be charged again.

Corrections for travel insurance are only allowed up to 10 days before the policy's effective date (as mentioned in your insurance certificate or ID card).

If the trip duration and traveler's age remain unchanged, corrections are processed free of charge.

If the number of days increases or the traveler's age differs, an additional fee will apply. The updated cost will be communicated via email, chat, or phone by our travel experts.

Name corrections for spelling errors are free, but complete name changes are not permitted.
